• apocalyptic archaeology

Apocalyptic Archaeology features works that are depictions of a ruined world. The works are meditations on the brevity of life, and reveal the awareness of passing time, erosion and decay, and the ultimate deterioration of manmade artifacts, such as architecture, interiors, and landscapes.

Land Escape

Land Escape is a series of works rooted in the terra inferma. For this group the starting point was to great objects that float.. clouds, ships on the sea, icebergs, islands. These floating islands carry their passengers like short story events on a stage of stone. Our story will be written on a quarter inch layer of geologic stratagraphic time.

The works were made in a quicker time scale using simple materials.

wood, stone, styrofoam, plastic, plant material, acrylic color, digital print, metal
